About The Programme
It is modular in design, and has a strong focus on understanding equality legislation, leading diverse teams and workforce, EDI data analysis and reporting, and leadership for equity. It is intended to provide learners with knowledge and skills to interrogate and support their organisations’ equity, diversity & inclusion (EDI) work.
Taught elements of the programme, and assessments, are approximately 120 hours and sessions are ‘taught’ in blocks of 2 or 3 hours.
To achieve the Level 7 Diploma in ‘Equity, Inclusion & Organisational Diversity’, all module assignments must be undertaken and passed.
Who Should Do the Level 7 Certificate?

The Level 7 Diploma in ‘Equity, Inclusion & Organisational Diversity’ is open to anyone, in any industry or sector with an interest in equity, diversity & inclusion, and/or responsibility for leading equity, diversity & inclusion at organisational or sub-organisational level. In other words, this programme is open to:
- Teachers and school leaders
- Teaching Fellows and lecturers
- Directors from any industry or sector
- Project specialists from any industry or sector
- Experienced or newly appointed EDI managers/ teams
- Human resource managers / staff in any organisational type and sector
- Chief executives from any organisational type or industry
- Any individual looking to develop or extend their understanding of EDI
To pursue the Level 7 Diploma, learners will need an undergraduate degree (in any subject), or an equivalent qualification, plus a minimum of 5 years work experience.
